Electric Retina: Services
At Electric Retina we offer web design services focused on providing content management and interactive solutions. We do this by utilizing four internet based technologies.
The first is Adobe Dreamweaver templates and Adobe Contribute. In Dreamweaver we mark parts of the web page to be edited. The owner uses the Contribute software to edit the defined content areas within the web page, add and remove pages from the site as well as delegate tasks to other employees. This solution does not require any web server languages.
The second is the typo3 content management system. Typo3 is an open source content management system with a large developer and user base. The typo3 community has already developed many features and plugins for site development. As well the system can be extended to meet any clients need.
The third is Adobe Flash. Flash can be used to create visually appealing banner graphics or full web-sites. Flash can also be used to create interactive internet applications for external web-sites or for an internal intranet.
The fourth and my favorite is VRML. The virtual reality modeling language has been around almost as long as the internet. VRML is used to create interactive virtual worlds for the internet. I have used VRML to create interactive architectural models for client presentations.
