Stone Church launches with the help of Electric Retina

Volunteers from the church had already completed the design, and with the help of Electric Retina they lauched a full content managed web solution at the beginning of 2007.

When I first sat down with the Associate Paster at Stone Church in downtown Toronto they were able to present me with there design. They had a group of dedicated people and designers that had put together a design that reflected the people that make up the community that is Stone Church, the approvals were already in place they just needed help moving to the next level.

Using their photoshop file as the base I created the HTML page mock-ups for their front-page and typcial pages. Once they signed-off on that I went to work transforming the HTML pages into templates using the Typo3 CMS(content management system). Using Typo3 I was able to provide them with an event calendar, photo galleries and user controlled access for editing the site content.

Using a CMS Stone is able to distribute web duties to each ministry department as necessary and at the same time giving them the freedom to update the site from the comfort of their own homes.
